Subject: Excellent Quality, Excellent Energy
With Alligator right out of the gates I was quite happy. I'm with you, I didn't remember (clearly) the latter half of the second set but this recording brought me right back. (I think it was in the Star Hill brews actually.)
I think this lineup just really plays tight together, the tunes on this one are played with authority and high power all the way through. Passenger totally blows the roof off.

Subject: What I remember was stellar....
High energy opening with Alligator and BIOTL. Tennessee Jed and Brown Eyed Woman took me back to the day...
That slow blues in the first set really sounded like Shine on you Crazy Diamond in a good, good way.

Passenger was epic and the Half Step bounced along.... I have a vague memory of the Minglewood and Casey Jones and then nothing. Everyone else I talked to at this show has trouble remembering it all too! Maybe there was something in the air that night.
